In “buckle and growth” we wanted to use principles of artistic research and sculpture to examine the main metaphors of growth.

When are we really dealing with processes of growth and when about forms of proliferation or propagation?

When does something appear to us as "more", and how do increasing and decreasing relate to each other? The phenomenon of growth also includes the opposite: the shrinking. We concentrated on the three metaphors: organic, linear and exponential growth. We compared them and put them in relation to the principals of taking away - the buckle.
