The work consists of two parts. You keep the larger part (stick) and pass on the second, smaller part (foil). When can you use work? If you have done work for someone and they have promised you work in return, you can use this work.

work/work is used as follows: Once the consideration for the work performed has been determined, a notch is cut into both pieces of wood. In addition, a note can be made on the wood indicating what consideration is to be provided and/or when it is to be provided. Once the consideration has been provided, the notch is removed. work/work is then available for the next transaction.
