Sven Kalden is a visual artist based in Berlin who works with sculpture, installation, and public art. He studied fine art/sculpture at the Berlin-Weißensee Academy of Art and graduated in 1999 as a master student. 

Kalden has participated in numerous international exhibitions and public art projects, including the Daegu Photo Biennale, the Sculpture Quadrennial in Riga, and exhibitions in Vienna and Jerusalem. Until 2020, he taught as a assistant professor at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and held various teaching positions and jury appointments. 

His works often deal with topics such as debt, monetary policy, and social inequality.
